Dirty Undies Vol. 1 features the short underground classics by Jaimz Asmundson, including 'Blow Me', 'Liquid Lunch', 'Checkers', 'Carpet Cleaners' & 'Attack of the 50 Foot Chihuahuas From Outer Space!'.
'Blow Me' (2005)
"Asmundson's semi-autobiographical story is directed through a stylish tabacco haze, as stressed out Journalist, Ash Tray is confronted by hilarious hallucinatory personifications of his nicotine habit" - Alison Gillmor, Winnipeg Free Press
'Liquid Lunch' (2004)
Our Hero, Frank the businessman, peruses the adult classifieds for a lunch-hour quickie. He gets more than he bargained for when he encounters a "real" dominatrix.
'Carpet Cleaners' (2002)
Amerika and Zed aim to free their friend, Kyle, from the clutches of his nutburger girlfriend by enlisting the aid of the Sappho Carpet Cleaners. But the plan goes awry and the tables are turned, trashed and burned.
'Checkers' (2005)
A couple of slackers spend the afternoon at home, playing a paranoid game of checkers, while in a drug induced haze.
'The Science of Eugenics' (2006)
A scattershot parody of Eugenics, a philosophy of "racial hygiene" on the 1920s, before it mutated into the Nazi ideal of racial purity in the '30s. Created for the 2006 48 Hour Film Festival in Winnipeg.
'Attack of the 50 Ft. Chihuahuas from Outer Space' (1999)
"Its hero, having been hypnotized by a corrupt psychiatrist after suffering the trauma of being peed on by a giant dog, decides to go to the beach. While on the way he picks up his friends, who are sitting on a step, possibly contemplating mass suicide. When he suggests they all go to the beach, the friends completely change their attitude, as if the expectation of dun in the sun is a mind-altering chemical...and then they get peed on, too." - Uptown Magazine
* Also Featuring Cake Builder's 'Fire Walker' - live music video shot at Lynch Night 2006.
