Journey through one man's past and into the 21st Century. The Wisconsin native, John Hoier, whose music and film career features landmarks as diverse as Guns n' Roses and Strawberry Shortcake, reinvents himself as the Shaman Juan. This live musical performance explores the topics of love, nature, war and reason with wit and compassion. John Hoier grew up in New Holstein, Wisconsin and had regional and international hits in the 60s with The Messengers. Prior to his transformation into The Shaman Juan, Mr. Hoier worked with Flo and Eddy of the Turtles, appeared on the Tonight Show and worked on Disco Duck. This concert is his first live performance since 1979. It features brand new music as well as a short documentary film and two music videos.
