Synopsis

The woods around Trauton Riverbend are cursed, the rusted cars and abandoned campsites tell stories of those who trespassed onto the campground and never came out. When Specter (Marshall White) convinces his friend Alexis (Suki Peters) to join his new film making friend Dean (Jaxon Stanford) and his crew, on the set of the latest horror film, no one suspects the true horror that awaits them.

Ari Lehman (Friday the 13th) appears as Delbert Eaton the neighbor farmer who tries to warn the young film makers.

Since 2001, Jaxon has been involved in well over 50 projects in films, industrial films, infomercials, and TV Commercials. A few highlights: playing a New York Press Photographer in the Hollywood Production of "The Game Of Their Lives" starring Patrick Stewart, released in 2005 at theaters nation-wide; a Priest in "The Call" which was entered in the 2002 Sundance Film Festival; starring in the feature film "Kisses and Swords" in 2004; lead role in "Queen Down" released in 2004; principal role in the feature film "Death Of A Healer" in 2005; principal role in "The Babysitter" entered into the New York Film Festival in 2006; principal role in the Mil Mascaras film "Wrestling Women Vs The Brainiac" due out in 2007 and appearances in many commercials, infomercials, and industrial videos in a principal role. Jaxon also recently returned to theater and took a principal role in the play "Picnic" by Flood Stage Productions in 2005 and he also took a principal role in the play "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest" by Act II Productions in 2006. It was extremely satisfying and exciting to get back on stage in front of a live audience once again!

Actor, Writer and Director living in the Mid West. Currently I am involved in three touring shows with The Imaginary Theatre Company, the children's theatre division of The Repertory Theatre in St. Louis: HANSEL & GRETEL: THE NEXT GENERATION, THE VELVETEEN RABBIT, and A THOUSAND CRANES. Recently I finished shooting an independent film in the St. Louis area for Bill Boll (which is is as yet untitled). In the fall of 2004 I moved back to St. Louis from Los Angeles where I shot a short film entitled SEPTEMBER MORN as a Project Greenlight entry film. I have appeared in half a dozen films including the independent film APRIL IS MY RELIGON, the low budget horror/comedy KILLERS BY NATURE and most recently the holiday horror film THANXGIVING from director Bobby Ray Akers and starring Ari Lehman, the first Jason Voorhees (all soon available on DVD). I have also been in over fifty stage productions including Jesus in GODSPELL, MacBeth in MACBETH, Jaime Escalante in STAND AND DELIVER, Laertes in HAMLET, and Jerry in THE ZOO STORY. Currently I am in Pre-Production on a feature film I co-wrote and will be directing called THE PITCH. I have had some vocal and broadsword trainning and will soon begin taking fencing lessons. In addition my brother, Nathan, and I are developing an updated version of THE CRUSADERS which we will be submitting to Archie Comics this summer. The 10 Lamest Days of Horror the World Has Ever Known! | show/hide snippet
When it comes to the whole gimmick of “holiday horror”, it’s really hit and miss. Mostly miss. Let’s face it—Halloween and Friday the 13th got it right, but outside of those classics, it’s quite a dismal little subgenre. Don’t believe me? Then let’s relive some of it’s less-than-memorable followers, shall we?

Well I saw ThanXgiving in Chicago. 1thing the movie could have been better on the audio,but over all I was impressed. I think the film work was great the actors were to. Over all I think the big woohoo for me was the other Effects. That stuff was freaking gross I thought I was going to vomit! loved it. I feel that maybe with a little tweaking here or there this could be a strance yet interesting little plot twisting movie. Your cast looked to work well on the film.Everything looked to be edited good.I just hope that this wont be the last of that old crazy family.Then again The Delbert guy was hot! bring him back to...
