ZeNubia's "alter ego", Ericka Cotton, has worked in television production for over a decade. She began her career with PBS and the Emmy- Award winning series, Newton’s Apple. As a production manager at Walt Disney World, she managed an array of sports, music and series television programs for the theme park. As a dancer, she has studied Belly Dance, Modern, Jazz, African, and Brazilian, but inadvertently kept the dancer under wraps while building her producer skills.
While her television career blossomed in Orlando, Ericka's love for dance re-emerged, and ZeNubia's spirit took ! center stage. Her performances have been described as incredibly artistic, passionate, and full of mesmerizing energy. ZeNubia has performed for Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, conferences and events in Orlando, New York and Miami, as well as Beirut, Lebanon. She can been enjoyed regularly at Olympia Greek Restaurant and Ali Baba in Longwood. ZeNubia was inspired to create Central Florida's World of Dance after experiencing various cultures in Central Florida and abroad, realizing the power dance has in connecting people “despite our differences.” Adding producer, writer and host to her dance credits, this is one entertainer that gets to have her cake and eat it too!
Central Florida's World of Dance airs on Vision TV (Brighthouse Channel 98) and is a recipient of a 2005 National Telly Award for Cultural Programming. For showtimes or to watch the program online, go to http://www.visiontv.us

"a cross-cultural block party-cum-performance art."
“On an ordinary day, an ordinary man is walking down an ordinary road.” So begins the narrator of “The Extraordinary Fila,” a story that is anything but ordinary in the way it’s told: with dueling drums and belly dancing, veils, a head-mounted candelabra and even a live python."
"You know this is going to be good when the drummers make their entrance."
"They are the Shredd! Ensemble of Orlando, and their dancing-drumming-storytelling excursion weds African and Latin rhythms, Middle-Eastern & who-knows-what-all dance traditions. It’s a happy, energy-exuding cultural collision."
