Synopsis

A street preacher encounters a man in a greasy rib joint and becomes convinced that she has been chosen by God to bring this solitary stranger to Jesus. What she doesn’t realize is that he is a hired killer staking out the restaurant as he lies in wait for his intended victim. Both the preacher lady and the hit man are determined to carry out their mission. No matter what it takes.

Peter O’Keefe’s most recent film, the 56 minute “Infidel” screened at the Planet Ant Film Festival in Detroit, the Rome International Film Festival, and the Denver Underground Film Festival. His 23 minute dramatic short “Lulu Takes a Lover” premiered at the San Francisco Digital Underground Film Festival in July of 2001. The short film was selected as an IFilm “Pick” and has screened at the Long Island Gay & Lesbian Film Festival, the Noirdance Film Festival (Dallas), the Key Cinemas Local Filmmakers Showcase (Indianapolis), Indiana University South Bend Film Studies Committee Screening Series, and the Chicago Community Cinema monthly screening series. Mr. O’Keefe’s second short film “Bad Advice” premiered at the Indianapolis Underground Film Festival in December, 2002 and was an official selection of the Philadelphia Video Festival, the Detroit International Video Festival and the Microcinema Independent Exposure international screening series. “Bad Advice” also screened at the Ann Arbor Cinema Slam, the Mid America Filmmakers Winter Screening Series (South Bend), the Milwaukee Underground Film Festival, the Oranje Music Festival (Indianapolis) as well as the Chicago Community Cinema.
