  K.P. and Katherine Kunhiraman, artistic directors of the group featured on this show (Kalanjali: Dances of India) both learned their art at the Kalakshetra Institute of Madras, India. They have operated their dance academy, which specializes in bharata natyam dance, for the past 25 years. Each year, in addition to their own advanced and professional-level students, they bring over performers from India including dancers and musicians...many of whom can be seen on this show.

  Richard R. Lee has over 20 years experience as a television producer
  and director. He has worked for numerous broadcast stations in the
  San Francisco Bay Area including KTVU (Fox), KRCB (PBS), KFCB
  (indep.) and KCRT (indep.). He is best known for his long-running,
  award winning program, “Sidewalks Entertainment,” a talk-variety
  series spotlighting performance and performers. In addition, he and
  “Sidewalks” co-host have MCed a variety of functions in the Bay Area.

• Director: Eve A. Ma | bio

  Producer-director of this show, Eve A. Ma turned to video & film in 2002 after several other successful careers. In 2004 she founded her own production company, Palomino Productions.

  The company currently has 19 titles available on DVD and some 30 programs available for television broadcast. Ma's shows have screened as far afield as Athens, Greece; have aired over PBS stations in the U.S.; and have won regional awards.

  She currently films in both Spain and the U.S. and produces in both Spanish and English. She also dances flamenco at a professional level and is listed in Who's Who in the World
