Forest Bullard is the best videogame player in the world, but he's got a problem: his overbearing ex-army sergeant Grandpa. With the help of his slacker buddy Spencer, Forest discovers they can control Grandpa via a microchip the army implanted in his brain as a mind-control experiment.
The U.S. Army has a problem too: recruitment is down. They've got more enemies than ever before, but fewer people willing to kill them. The solution? Recruit gamers! They're already desensitized to violence, and there are millions of them. So the army has a contest to find the best player in the world and make him their recruiting champion. First prize? A million dollars!
Can the boys keep Grandpa out of the way long enough for Forest to win? Especially after the chip blows and Grandpa reverts to his former personality- a peace loving hippie... and the army is cheating!
With over 45 minutes of extra features (not counting 2 feature-length commentary tracks), this DVD includes two award-winning short films: In the Dark; and Enjoying Christmas: An Educational Series for Juvenile Delinquents!
Shot in 1.85:1 widescreen at 24p.
