Synopsis

Daffy Dave's Tree Fort is a place where children can laugh, play, grow and develop. This first DVD from Daffy Dave is a fun-filled hour of comedy, magic, music for children. There are plenty of Dave's clowning routines and comical antics with his friends Lizzy Bee, Dusty Buckles, Dolly Pop and Flyin' Ryan.
The show ends with live performances of songs that encourage children to get up and dance. In the Tree Fort, Dave's capers incorporate themes like personal hygiene, exercise, and tidiness. In nature settings, Dave talks about our environment, including the importance of air and water quality, reducing waste, reuse, and recycling.
The message is clear: join in and have fun taking care of yourself and our planet everyday!

Producer: Dave Mampel and Peter Lonsky | bio
Dave Mampel and Peter Lonsky co-produced Daffy Dave's Tree Fort in 2002 at The Media Center in Palo Alto, California. Together, they scripted shows, routines, and positive messages about taking care of ourselves and our planet in ways that children can relate to and understand. They also co-created sets and trained staff to assist in the TV Production studio, create characters, and schedule live audiences derived from Daffy Dave's (aka Dave Mampel) Fan Club in the San Francisco Bay Area of Northern California. Dave brought his long-time Children's Entertainer skills and experience and Peter, his life-long creative design, writing, computing, and entrepreneurial skills and experience into the project. Together, with a fun bunch of performers, musicians, cast, crew and cute and delightful kids (and supportive parents!), they created a fun first video that has been watched and loved (and aired locally on TV in the Bay Area), particularly for ages 3-5 who have been known to watch the show over and over again, sometimes wearing out the tape (now DVD)! This new DVD re-release is the 3rd version with new edits and graphics added for more fun and better all-around visual and audio quality.
