We are still able to sit in the same room today and it never fails that we end up re-enacting our favorite horror scenes on each other, or just blurting out lines from movies we have made.
Our first film titled "Pizzaguy" (1999) has achieved cult status in and around the around Grand Strand. It was written, shot and edited in 24 hours using a Hi-8, two VCRs and a Sony Play station for the audio track. At that time it was truly guerilla film-making at its best.
In 2002, Kluckin Films steps up to the plate again, swings and scored when their 2ND film Piggy, which won the Rob Zombie Short Horror Film Contest, put on by local radio station 101.7 WKZQ. Piggy beat out 48 other films and was shown at a local concert in front of about a thousand concert-goers. After that great moment in history happened, of course, the filmmakers heads blew up like a shuttle coming back into orbit. So they split up (Go figure, HUH!)
But Kluckin Films kept gushing along, like a bad knife wound to the neck, by adding such talents as Scott L. Collins (Writer, Producer, and Director), Dustin Ivey (Actor, Writer and Special Effects Supervisor). Picking up some great on-screen talent like Jonica Uebelacker, the star of Piggy ...2. Patrick Best, member of a local rock band Live Like Murder. Great country music writer, and star of Kluckin Films: Welcome to Blood Beach, Jimmy Mack. Last but not least Jody Tyson, star of the films Bloodlust, Box 13, and the uncompleted Berserker. Without whom we would all be looking at a blank screen right now!

In 2003 and 2004 Kluckin Films worked hard to put together their first collection of short horror films, which can be seen in all their blood and gore on our Nightmares DVD. Nightmares is also loaded with all kinds of extras and goodies like music videos! As well as behind the scene clips and uncompleted films, which will happen from time to time when you are working on a low budget horror film with no budget at all. It still costs money to splatter blood across the scene no matter if the fake blood is only made up of chocolate milk, Red food coloring and seven drops of blue food coloring (Thanks Disney!)

Fast forward to 2006! Now that heads of Kluckin Films founders Dwayne King and Wendell Smith have finally deflated and they now agree to co-exist on the same planet Kluckin Films will continue to pump out the gruesome blood and gore that we have all come to know and love. Now along with Scott L. Collins, Kandi Ranson and Leah Carroll Myers.
They will all strive to put out great stories that entertain and are designed to scare the fur off of small animals.
Ecstatic with the release of their first feature film project, (Titled "Kill Syndrome") first on January 06, 2006 in it’s short version - on a compilation disc titled Beastly Butchers and then in it's entirety, as a single, on Nov. 06, 2007 World Wide!!
There has been a sad turn of events within our company in February of 2008.
One writer, actor and co-director, (Scott L. Collins), has been severed from our staff. Scott has personal afflictions that have come to infect us all. Until he can find and administer the antidote to himself we will not be working with him.
In the mean time, if you are a writer and would like to submit your work to be considered for use in our future projects please send your scripts and stories to:

So the next time you pop in a DVD of your favorite horror film just remember: Just south of the North Carolina boarder, along the Grand Strand there is a small group of film-makers. More than likely stranded out in the middle of nowhere, out of gas, and covered in fake blood; working their hardest trying to achieve the same damn things on a ten dollar budget that Hollywood does with a hundred million dollar budget!
