Kool Boy is one of the original West Coast Pop Lockers and has been pop lockin for 27 years. His style of pop lockin comes straight from the streets of Compton. Kool Boy has been featured in several music videos, hip hop documentaries as well as touring with rapper Suga Free. He currently teaches the youth the form of G-Style pop lockin in his own personal dance studio. His Main focus is to continue this type of pop lockin trend throughout the years to come by introducing it to his son, Lil Kool Boy.
