This book focuses on the Turkish split hand technique, soloing, groupings, odd rhythms and fancy finger moves.

About Raquy Danziger
Raquy Danziger is a popular performer, teacher and composer of Middle Eastern drumming. The highlight of her career was in March 2005 when Raquy was invited by the most famous drummer in Egypt, Saiid El Artist to perform as a soloist with his troupe. Raquy is also a group leader and composer. She composes pieces for ensembles comprised of her students as well as her band, Raquy and the Cavemen. Her Dumbek Instructional Kit including a book, a DVD and a CD is being used by drummers all over the world. She has released three CD’s, “Masmudi”,2001 and “Dust”, 2004 and “Jordan”, 2005.
