CHILDSUPPORT / DVD
Great music, and a great restorative effort here by Whalebone Productions. The film was assembled from film and video footage shot from 1983 - 1992. Fast-paced, and inspirational the film provides an inside look at times, of a band in the making. The soundtrack is a keeper too, as 5 of the 6 tracks were digitally remastered by Jack Endino. It goes by quick, as the music is the main thing, although the remake of "Thirty Minutes" is a candidate for the indie film festivals.
Produced by Rob Hursh and Allen Ensign with
post production by Whalebone Productions
(Seattle 2005 - 2006).

Approximately, 22 Minutes in length, this film is a romp through a decade
(1983 –1993) of punk musical history. Take six great Childsupport songs,
five, digitally re-mastered by sound engineer, and legend, Jack Endino,
next, create a visual montage from original footage of shows, including privately
filmed performances. Bring these production elements together through the also
legendary Rob Hursh, of Whalebone Productions. (Needless to say,
both with the recent release of "Come To Amerika" now on CD at www.cdbaby.com., and with the completion and release of CHILDSUPPORT, the DVD, much restorative work transpired). We at enkimusic and film
are grateful for the care and attention that went into helping "raise from the
dead" the original and notorious, punk rock band Childsupport.
AE, on behalf of eveyone at enkimusic & film (neophlyte), enjoy, and always
Stay young, when in doubt, turn it up!
