  Maury Sterling was born and raised in Mill Valley, California. He is a graduate of the UCLA School of Theatre and has studied & performed in both New York and San Francisco. Film credits include: Smokin' Aces, Frankie and Johnny Are Married, Hart's War and Outbreak. Television: Faceless (Fall 2006 Pilot), ER, Deadwood, Nip/Tuck, Six Feet Under, CSI and numerous others. Maury is a founding member of the Buffalo

• Dr. David Munck: Michael Reilly Burke | bio

  Michael Reilly Burke has appeared in over 50 Movies, TV shows, and Movies of the Week. Recent television work includes CSI, Crossing Jordan, Cold Case, Without a Trace, Commander in Chief, and West Wing. Theatre roles include Pip/Theo in Three Days of Rain at the Old Globe in San Diego, and Biff in South Coast Repertory’s production of Death of a Salesman. He played Ted Bundy in the feature film of the same name, and can be seen on a new series, Lincoln Heights, which begins airing
  this fall.

• Leslie Munck: Jennifer Aspen | bio

  Jennifer Aspen has been a series regular on FOX-TV's "Party of Five," opposite Matthew Fox, where she played 'Daphne Jablonsky.' She was also a series regular on ABC's "Bob Patterson" and NBC's "Come to Papa." Jennifer most recently starred
  opposite Rodney Carrington in ABC's family comedy, "Rodney," and she recently filmed a role in New Line Cinema's "Mr. Woodcock," opposite Billy Bob Thornton, Susan Sarandon and Seann William Scott. Jennifer has had numerous guest-star and recurring roles on such shows as "Friends," "CSI," "Will and Grace," "The Agency," "Line of Fire," "The Lyon's Den" and "Karen
  Sisco." She has also appeared in a number of feature films, including "Vanilla Sky," "See Jane Run," "The Others," "Changing Habits," "A Very Brady Sequel" and "Sometimes They Come Back Again."

• Director: Jacob Cooney | bio

  Born in the Northern California town of Ferndale, CA, Jacob Cooney graduated from California State University, Monterey Bay with a BA in Teledramatic Arts and Technology in 2004. Shortly after graduating, Jacob moved to Los Angeles in search of a directing career and soon after, was hired to direct his first feature film titled FIERCE FRIEND, which world premiered at the 2006 Dances with Films festival in Los Angeles.

  Along with FIERCE FRIEND, Jacob has directed numerous local commercials and short films. THE FROLIC marks Jacob’s second consecutive film working with producer Jane Kelly Kosek. He is currently in development on his second feature film EIGHTY-SIX and is also working with writers Brandon Trenz and Thomas Ligotti on the feature version of THE FROLIC.

  Jane Kosek is an independent film producer whose first feature STRAIGHT LINE premiered at the South by Southwest Film Festival in March 2005. Jane’s follow up feature was FIERCE FRIEND, filmed in January 2005. She executive produced TENNESSEE with Lee Daniel’s Entertainment (MONSTER’S BALL, THE
  WOODSMAN) in 2007. That same year, she produced THE HILL, an ensemble drama starring Desmond Harrington, Kathleen Robertson, Christian Kane, Jonny Abrahams, Sunny Mabrey, Will Estes, Sara Rue, Elden Henson and Barry Corbin. Jane is very excited to be premiering THE FROLIC. She is a long-time friend of writers Tom Ligotti and Brandon Trenz and has been diligently working on bringing the first film adaptation of Tom Ligotti’s short stories to the big screen. In January 2005, Jane formed the production company Wonder Entertainment. Jane
  has also worked on a plethora of successful and highly acclaimed feature films, including Academy Award-winning A BEAUTIFUL MIND. Jane went on to work at Warner Bros. for screenwriter and producer Akiva Goldsman at his production company, Weed Road Pictures. During her three years at Weed Road, she assisted in the development and production of motion pictures, including CONSTANTINE, STARSKY & HUTCH, and MR. AND MRS. SMITH. Other film projects Jane helped coordinate include Kasi Lemmons’s CAVEMAN’S VALENTINE, Jon Favreau’s MADE, Todd Solondz’s STORYTELLING, and NBC’s ED.

• Line Producer: Jade DeCosta | bio

  Jade is a native Angeleno, who graduated from the University of Hawaii, Manoa with a degree in Business Administration. Her first foray in the entertainment industry came in Oct 2000 when she begain working at the American Society of Composers Authors and Publishers (ASCAP). While working in the Pop Music Department she helped to coordinate the annual ASCAP Pop Music Award show. This annual gala has been held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel and the Kodak Theatre. ASCAP was her first foray into the entertainment industry and although music was intriguing to her, she soon found that film was where her passion lay.

  She initially gained experience in film by working with friend and Boricua Films producer David Meiselman on a short film, JESSE O: A PUERTO RICAN MISDEMEANOR, in which she served as UMP/1st AD. For the next year she continued to work with Boricua Films where she produced their quarterly live festival "Urban Graffiti", a judged poetry competition. She continued to cultivate her production skills by taking courses at UCLA Extention and continuing to work in various capacities on numerous independent features. Her film credits include EAST OF SUNSET, THE THIRD WISH, IN THE MIX, FIERCE FRIEND, AMERICAN ZOMBIE, THE FROLIC (short), COUGAR CLUB and BOY IN THE BOX.

  In 2005 Jade joined the Wonder Entertainment team where she is a partner and acts as Production Executive. Her latest project, THE HILL, was filmed entirely on location in Athens, GA and finds her back in the Line Producer role where she is most comfortable.

• Writer: Thomas Ligotti | bio

  Thomas Ligotti is considered by many to be the greatest living practitioner of
  gothic horror in America and an heir to the mantles of Edgar Allen Poe and H.
  P. Lovecraft. He is the author of many collections of short stories, including The Nightmare Factory, which was awarded the Bram Stoker Award by the Horror Writers of America. He and Brandon Trenz are also co-authors of the
  screenplay Crampton.

• Writer: Brandon Trenz | bio

  Brandon Trenz graduated from Michigan State University with a concentration
  in creative writing, and has achieved success writing in many different media,
  consisting of screenwriting, film reviews, reference publications, and
  songwriting. He has written five feature-length screenplays, including two collaborations with Bram Stoker Award-winning horror author Thomas Ligotti; in 2003, their screenplay, Crampton, was published by Durtro Press and became an instant collector's item.

• Composer: Steve King | bio

  A native of Detroit, Steve King is a Grammy Award winning sound engineer,
  mixer and song writer. His musical compositions come organically and
  collaboratively. He has worked with the likes of 50 Cent, Obie Trice, and
  Eminem among others. He has numerous co-writer credits on much of
  Eminem's work including the 8 MILE soundtrack which spawned the Academy
  Award winning song “Lose Yourself”.

  A respected and award winning cinematographer, Robert Morris has garnered much praise and recognition for his work throughout the years. Having shot almost a hundred music video’s for artists such as Dr. Dre, Filter, and Eminem, as well as numerous short films and features that include HATE: A COMEDY, POOLHALL JUNKIES, THE HARD EASY, and PARTNERS, Robert has risen the ranks in the entertainment industry to become one of the up and coming heavy hitters in the cinematography arena.
