Finally, the indie classic is back!
The film critics have called "hilarious and inspiring" and "a Fellini-esque good time" is now available on DVD for the first time ever!
Rat Bastard is an offbeat comedy that follows the lives, loves and conflicts of four, very different twenty-somethings as they pursue their own paths in life.
Jeeter is an artist who has sacrificed a comfortable living to pursue his art. He is in the middle of what he feels is an important project - painting a self portrait. Unfortunately he is also on the verge of being kicked out of his attic apartment. As Jeeter struggles to make ends meet, his two friends Mik, a cook at a local pancake house and K, a ladies man who writes bumper stickers for a living, insist it's time Jeeter "grows up and gets a real job". The pleas of his friends fall on deaf ears however, and the landlord's obnoxious son, Jerzey, takes it upon himself to kick Jeeter out.
In the meantime Mik's cousin Gwen has stopped by on her way to New York City, having recently left her job in search of something better. This escalates the conflicts as both Jeeter and K vie for her attention.
Brutally funny and poignant, Rat Bastard takes an unique look at the choice we all make between job, career, and vocation. It is a film that will strike a humorous chord with anyone who has ever worked, dreamed or both - while challenging society's views on what the term "success" really means.
