Synopsis

The movie is a modern epic of the apocalypse. The beginning of a series. A family of Serial Killer, Black Magician Sideshow Freaks, known as the Unholy Sideshow, are called upon by The Order of Mystery, a secret society of Wizards, Sideshow Masters and Vampires, to prevent the coming of the dead. The Unholy Sideshow must perform a ritual sacrifice to appease the Ancient Ones and earn their right to join the ranks of The Masters of Mystery. If the ritual is not set in motion, if the Unholy Sideshow is not up to the task the gates of the abyss will cover the earth in darkness.

When it's evil vs. evil, who can you trust?

Barry Silver, once a student of the old church, first witnessed his dark fate at the tender age of six. While attending one “cirque manifique” young Barry’s popcorn was stolen by a clown. Snatched from his little hands and eaten right in front of him; a life changing event for sure.

Since the age of six Mr. Silver has studied magic, clowning, escapism, and sideshow feats of human ability and endurance. His passions drove him to quit high school to attend Spiffy’s Gang Clown College and perform full time.

This entertainer extraordinaire, a man of a million tricks, has been spotted pushing his body to near death experience all over Pennsylvania. Currently based out of Philadelphia, PA, Barry Silver is a founding member of The Unholy Sideshow.

This geek escapes from a straight-jacket only to walk on broken glass, eat light bulbs, play with fire, and shove hatpins through the thick of his arms - And that’s only in the first act!!!

Independent Producer/director/editor based out of Philadelphia, PA. Released my first feature Unholy Sideshow (the movie) with a DIY budget, small core crew and real sideshow performers in the cast. Currently in production on 'The Museum' a narrative/documentary on the life and work of the Tiberino family who reside at the Ellen Powell Tiberino Museum in west Philadelphia. I will also be releasing several live performance sideshow videos through the recently not quite established West Philth Productions.

After watching The Unholy Sideshow to things come to mind. The first is I can see how it won makeup and special effects awards and the second... I don't think i will be going to a sideshow for at least six months after watching this film.

Why might you ask would I want to avoid a sideshow after seeing a movie, yeah i know its got a clown but thats not it. Then what is it already, well fine its the fact that the audience members of the sideshow get tortured and killed at the sideshow after party, pretty violently too (it was good and creative).

What begins as a feud between two leaders(Lazari & Jellyboy(Malerkus)) of different magician guilds leads to zombies overrunning the earth. This DIY film is great its got sideshow freaks including "The Enigma" always a great performer, a real pincushion act (bloody and everything), a good old fashion block head (a sweet blockhead clown nose) and zombies running a muck what else could one ask for. Be sure to watch for the reaction of the guy playing video games when the zombies keep going by his door, it is priceless.

All and all another example of well done DIY/Independent film making. Thanks Lazari for making a copy magically showing up in the mail box.
