Synopsis

Live from the Black Box is a rock film from an undisclosed location. The Burning Dirty Band's combustible live performance serves as the centerpiece as they explore the songs that would evolve into the 2007 album Goodbye Dominion. Combined with interviews, behind-the-scenes footage, and music videos, Live from the Black Box documents the underground Virginia rockers as they craft their most accomplished work yet. Intensity, frustration, wit, hope, and most importantly, sincere passion for their art shine through in this account of a young band rising and discovering their voice.
