Synopsis

The line from San Francisco to San Jose and beyond has been in continuous operation since the 1860s and is one of the busiest stretches of railroad on the west coast. Join us for a tour of some of the most interesting stations and locations on the Caltrain right-of-way in the first half of 2005.

See Caltrain's venerable F40PH and new MP36PH locomotives in action. Witness rolling meets as Baby Bullet express trains overtake slower trains as they speed along the San Francisco peninsula.

We work hard to get our facts straight, and present them to you in a relevant and concise format. We won't call a GP38-2 a GP40. We do a lot of research about the railroads that we shoot, and when possible we consult experts to verify our facts.
