Operating on former Southern Pacific and Western Pacific lines between Stockton and San Jose, California, the Altamont Commuter Express carries over 1,400 riders to and from work each day. Join us for a tour through scenic Altamont Pass, wooded Niles Canyon, the marshlands near Alviso, and more!

Most railfans want to hear the trains. For that reason, we do not include a music track. Meaningful Narration and Factual Content We work hard to get our facts straight, and present them to you in a relevant and concise format. We won't call a GP38-2 a GP40. We do a lot of research about the railroads that we shoot, and when possible we consult experts to verify our facts.
