The film will take you on an intimate journey with the Veterans of the 109th Infantry Regiment. Historically known as the infamous "Bloody Bucket" Division which fought heroically against the Germans. Discover what life was like for their young wives, finacee's and girlfriends waiting back home and how they carried on once their soldier returned.
This film features personal and historical archival photos and film of the Regiment and it's Division, the 28th from Pennsylvania. Follow the soldiers through the battlefields of Normandy, the Siegfried Line, the Huertgen Forest, "The Bulge" and the Colmar Pocket.
It also contains rare color footage of the 109th Regiment, filmed by Capt. Dick Leach, the Commander of Company D.
