Several venues have already been completely funkdafied with the funk/jazz sounds of the four person group; Da Phatfunk Clique. In September of 1998, violinist Darrell Looney began collaborating with bassist Brian Ellis on what would become the group's first release, "Pandemic Love". Since then the group has played various venues through out the NYC metro area in support of their 2006 release "Audiophile Advisory". The band continues as a group concept with various members contributing their experience to create funky mood-elevating jazz.
