Tariq Meyers (Jamal Hamilton) A young African American's love for Hip Hop, leads him to start his own record company, and a quest to change the game and the "Rules" in his West Coast, LA hood, and then across Urban America.
Tariq's success in the music game, leads him to become a target of a corrupt LA Detective, Officer Ray (June Do), who vows to take over the drugs on the street and record companies.
Tariq and his Cousin Sharif (Tony Washington) tips off another Detective leading to the arrest of Officer Ray, and ending his reign of terror and extortion in LA.
Tariq goes on to become one of LA's most successful businessmen, role model and a hero in the community.
