Movement Educator Stacey Pepper Schwartz is launching the creative movement/exercise DVD Up Down and All Around, focused on fun, family and fitness. Utilizing the elements of movement, her video entertains as she motivates adults and kids to get physically fit through movement games, silly exercises and challenges. The goal of the DVD is to get parents and kids, teachers and students, grandparents and grandchildren to move together and it succeeds by providing accessible movement activities for all types of movers, regardless of experience and age. Steve Blunt, award winning children’s music performer, accompanies the Up Down and All Around movers with his dynamic toe tapping music.
This movement program is unique because it was designed specifically to be utilized by educators and parents. For this reason, a comprehensive movement guide is available to use in conjunction with the DVD and can be downloaded off the website www.leapinglegs.com for free. The guide explains how to do each section of the program in depth, what kinesthetic skills are being addressed as well as offers fun variations to the exercises. This is a comprehensive program that will help schools and communities meet the National Physical Education Standards as well as the 5210 program implemented in many schools.
