Film Overview

In 2007, musicians and artists from around the world assembled in New York City to participate in the second annual Blip Festival. Curated and Organized by artist collective 8bitpeoples and non-profit art space The Tank, this four-day event showcased the untapped potential of low-bit home computer and game consoles used as creative audio and video tools.

2 Player Productions is proud to present this DVD video compilation, featuring one track from each of the festival's 32 performers. Unrestricted camera access positions the viewer directly between a surging crowd and a bracing wall of sound, one built upon familiar technology turned on its ear.

Disc 1 features thirty two videos in anamorphic widescreen featuring performances from all four days of Blip Festival 2007. Disc 2 special features include interviews with performers, bonus performance videos, multi-angle videos, "Reformat the Planet" trailer and clips, "Pulsewave" NYC event videos, "Pulsewave" full motion ROM show fliers, and a selection of photo galleries from Blip performers and attendees.
