Synopsis

One hundered years ago, an angry mob intent on justice for their murdered children hand a woman they believe is the murderer. They brand her a witch, wrap her body in chains and bury it deep in the woods.

When Deb and her friends play a childhood game on the witches wooded grave, they open the door to death. As her friends and family begin to change into something less than human, Deb struggles to stop the witch's curse. But her search for the truth will reveal an evil beyond her imagination.

Deb: Stefanie Tapio | bio
Stefanie comes to Wake the Witch from Omaha, NE, where she fell in love with performing on Central High School's stage. She went on to spend hendreds of hours with the Rose Theater as a student, intern, and performer. She also spent some time in San Francisco and performed with the Exit Theater.

Stefanie's film credits include Franky Four Eyes from Whitmore Productions, Random from King Penguin Productions, and At Bat by Andrew E. Nelson.
Karen: Karis Yanike | bio
Karis grew up in Omaha where music was her passion. A vocal music scholarship at Nebraska Weslyan University brought her to Lincoln where she has lived ever since.

A filmmaker herself, Karis's short film "Treehuggers" premiered in Lincoln in 2007. She is currently in preproduction with her next short scheduled to shoot in October.
Trixie: Rachel Lien | bio
Rachel's experience dips into her pre-teens when she was a regular with the Bellevue Little Theater. Since then she has graced both the big and small screens as well as the stage and has received several nomination and awards for her work.

Rachel's more recent film credits include April Showers by Women On Top Productions and Barstool Cowboy by 600films.
Mark: Martin Kenna | bio
Martin, an Omaha native, honed his acting skills at Millard South High School and the Omaha Cummunity Playhouse. He brings a very natural presence to the screen which help him land the role of Mark.

Martin's other film credits include Evan's America and ITK, both from Skyline Entertainment Productions.
Ardith: Barbara Elias | bio
Barbara first experienced the stage as a student at Westside High School in Omaha. She went on to perform in several productions at Midland Lutheran College in Fremont. Not only an actor, Barbara wrote, produced, directed, and starred in her own cooking show in Austin, TX., called "Barbie's Kitchen."

Her film credits include Statusly Fixtured by No Particular Studio Productions and Bugeaters by Apartment 101 Film Productions.
