Children watch how the letter is written first, then follow along with the DVD to write the letter a second and third time.
Each letter demonstration is preceded by a simple graphic that introduces the letter's sound and two sight words to help children develop literacy skills. (Over 100 sight words included). Letters are taught using visual modeling which studies have shown can help children learn more quickly and retain information more successfully.
Letters are taught in groupings that build upon a primary letter form which can help children avoid reversals. Easy-to-remember tips are also included to help children avoid reversals of letters b, d, p, z and others!
To make writing fun, drawing breaks are included after select letters which teach children how to draw using the letters to reinforce the letter strokes. Special writing tips track helps adults learn how to teach or correct pencil grips, posture, and other common writing issues.
