  Sarah Weis started her career as a theatre actress before shifting her focus to performance art, hypermedia and filmmaking. As an artist she was recently featured in the Xth Biennale de Lyon. Sarah’s most ambitious film projects include B-17: A Mini-Epic and ><: Level 2, both based on previous original performances and realized in collaboration with her creative partner, Arturo Cubacub. Sarah writes, stars in, scores and art-directs all of the duos projects, which have shown in Cannes, Melbourne, Beijing, London, Osnabrück, Philadelphia, LA, Boston, Louisville and Chicago in addition to boasting over 5 million views on the internet. As an electronic musician she has been featured on WFMU and written jingles for television commercials. Sarah is the Creative Director of i^3 hypermedia, where in addition to creating new work, she curates international live-streaming art and media events, most notably the first quadrennial (international | independent | interstitial) festival.
