Film Overview

Lolly (Kelsie Jenkins) Even at ten years old had a very strong imagination, but unlike most ten year old she didn't just dream about things she tried to find a way to act upon them. One day standing in the checkout counter at the grocery store she stood reading the headlines of those tell all magazines and the idea suddenly pooped into her very bright brain. " Why not publish a magazine about the kids in her school?" She convinced her older sister, Tangerine (Sara Jenkins) to help her, after all they had always done things together, always! But things changed suddenly this year Tangerine started high school, and when her "new friends" found out what she was doing
they ridiculed her for playing with her sister. This of course was a big disappointment to Lolly, but she was stubborn and said
" she could do it on her own" But finally things got rough for a little girl to go on, and was going to give it up until she was visited by her
deceased little friend Ethan, who was killed in an auto accident a year ago. Then she and her friend visited ""The Anne Frank" memorial
a new memorial in her town, ans learning about the struggles of Anne changed her outlook on life. Suddenly the journal the kids at school
called a joke turned out to be the" happening" book to be in especially if your picture was in there. This is an uplifting story for young people.

It took over six years to complete this film in it's entirety. Both Kelsi ans Sara play their characters young and older.
