  In 1998, Southern New Jersey native, Louis Bottino, created his first short film, an experimental black & white, 16mm film entitled Corridor. It was the first for Bottino’s production company, Jersey Devil Productions. His next film Decay went on to receive a short film award at the Atlantic City Film Festival in 2000. It was also featured on many New Jersey and New York cable programs.

  As would be with all his films, he also had a hand in creating the music. His next project, Repent, was funded privately and was the first to feature a large cast and the first to be shot digitally. His next film, The Corner Bar would be the first film that did not feature Bottino as an actor, allowing him to focus solely on directing.

  His current film Lake’s Edge, in which he wrote, directed, produced, and acted in, is a much more ambititous short because of the special effects and 30 minute length.

  Bottino currently lives in LA working for Rick Berman Productions at Paramount and is also developing new projects within the genre.
