Film Overview

a lonely teenager who is dead to the world and doesn't know it. In this first installment, The lost soul wanders from place to place he goes searching to solve the mystery that lies within his father's past and on that journey a couple of spoiled rich teens Eli Rousseau, Elizabeth Laroque, Lindsey Laroque and Landon Delancy are all on an exotic camping trip with a lost kid Devin Trotter who they have picked up from wondering around on the side of a country road. On there way back when they take him home, car troubles sideline them in a desolated area at a strangely abandoned farmhouse. At the huge farmhouse they mysteriously discover Shadow-Beings inside of expensive paintings that predict death and within the painting the shadow-beings make a work of art out of the souls that it captures inside of the painting it paints and the paintings that the shadow-beings are held in,happens to be portals to another dimension and any soul that the shadow-beings steal are cursed to walk eternally inside of it until the mystery of the Painting Shadows has been solved.
